It was good enough to improve the team to 5-9 on the season, which is still potential playoff territory in the NFC South. Now the Saints head back out on the road, where they’re just 1-5 this season. The Seahawks dropped a Thursday night game against the 49ers which dimmed the team’s playoff hopes.
The Raiders go up and down and are hard to predict, but they are less reliable on the road and the Steelers should grind this out late with Najee Harris outrushing fellow former Alabama back Josh Jacobs. Jared Goff did just enough against a tough defense on the road for the Lions to win last week. They keep improving a little defensively by containing the run and not let team pass at will against them. The Panthers have become too dependent on the run and were exposed by the Steelers in that capacity at home. The Eagles were caught looking a little ahead to this game in Dallas, but saved their win late in Chicago. The Cowboys also seemed to overlook their Week 14 road game in Jacksonville, losing badly in overtime on a Dak Prescott pick six.

He was fired by the University at the end of the 2020 season after a 29–0 loss to rival Troy and finished with a 9-26 record in his time with the Jaguars. The South Alabama Jaguars gained full Division I FBS status for the 2013–14 season in the Sun Belt Conference. The Jaguars also became eligible to win the Sun Belt Championship and for a post season Bowl game. The team finished the year at .500 with a 6-6 record, going 4-2 in home games.
